Keith McCormack, AIA
Keith N. McCormack, RA, AIA, CCS brings over 21 years of experience in design, project management and construction specification to Colimore Thoemke Architects, Inc. He joined the firm in October of 2007 after spending four years with the Baltimore City Public School System (BCPSS). As Senior Architect at BCPSS, Keith managed approximately $50 million of design projects and supervised a staff of architects and engineers.
He began his career in architecture simultaneously while earning his Masters of Fine Arts from Maryland Institute College of Art. During his tenure in the field, Keith has lent his expertise to renovations, additions tenant fit-outs and new construction of government buildings, medical and educational facilities and call centers.
In addition to his architectural accomplishments, Keith is the recipient of The E. D. Foundation, 1991 E.D. Foundation Individual Artist Grant; Maryland State Arts Council 1990 Individual Artist Award, Works on Paper; and Maryland State Arts Council, 1989 Individual Artist Award, Works-in-Progress. He is also published as a contributor in Architectural Graphic Standards, Ninth Edition, American Institute of Architect and is former Board Member of Construction Specification Institute.
