Quarry Lake at Greenspring Office Buildings
Client: Obrecht Properties (Owner/Developer)
Project Scope: The Quarry Lake Office Building and the Quarry Lake Medical Office Building are the two office shells designed by Colimore Thoemke Architects for the new development of Quarry Lake.
The three-story, 77,000 SF office building and the three-story, 72,000 SF medical office building are both Class A structures with dual-entry lobbies. The structural and HVAC systems were refined through a joint value engineering effort. Ceilings are 9’4"; corridor doors are 8’0"; and a central third stair is open to the lobby with upgraded finishes. DMW and EDSA are the site master planners and landscape architects.
CTA's design for these outstanding buildings received the 2006 Design and Craftsmanship Awards from the Masonry Institute of Maryland.
